•The Beginning of a New Era•

Whatsup Peasantry!  This is Daniel Sherman, co-vocalist, drummer, and lyricist for Crowned In Chains!  We're gonna be posting updates through this blog to let you know what we're up to and where all of your donations/ merch sales are going towards!  Specifically, we're gonna be talking a whole lot about Part 2.

As many of you know, we have been planning the next Crowned In Chains project since before our debut album King Suffering was even released!  The working tile for this project is "Part 2."  Part 2 will be released over time as a series of singles that tell one solidified story as a whole.  Much like a tv show airs over time to tell you what happens next, every new track released as a single is like an episode of Part 2.  It tells whats happened since the last time you last heard from us, and often even answers a lingering question posed from a cliffhanger at the end of the previous track.  Even though we're releasing this project as singles, it should be listened to with the understanding that it is in fact one cohesive whole.

What many of you may not know is that we have already begun production on Part 2, and the beginning of this new era for Crowned In Chains is upon us.  We have already recorded our next single, and are currently collaborating with producer Jake Jones out in Nashville to ensure our sound is crisp, polished, and professional.  Jake will be helping us make sure that our music lives up to the current standards of a constantly evolving music industry.  Our sound is about to take a massive jump.

Production isn't solely responsible for the quality jump you'll hear in Part 2.  We truly and honestly believe that we've been working on takes multiple steps forward in the areas of songwriting and musicianship.  These songs encapsulate everything we are as a band while also showing growth in skill and an evolution in sound from our first album.  Don't worry, we're still the Crowned In Chains that you all came to know on the King Suffering album, we're just taking a step further into our own unique spin on the alternative rock genre.

Beyond our producers and songwriting, we also have toured and met with a potential new studio to record our future singles at.  This will also help us with the quality of our sound.

All of this being said, these new steps we're taking come at a cost.  Literally, it all costs more money.  During this time of growth and moving forward for the band, we really appreciate your continued support of everything we've done and everything we're doing.  Please continue to buy the merch, donate what you can, and share our music with friends, family, and strangers.  All of these things allow us to keep making the content you all want and deserve.

We will keep posting these blogs as we have new info to tell you!  We want you all in the know about as much of this as possible!  (That being said, when it comes to the content of the music itself, you'll have to wait for the songs to premier... same goes for the track list.  Lookin' at you, Em!) .

We love and appreciate every single one of you.  You're all da bomb.  Like, foreal foreal da bomb.

Rawk on, homiez.  Rawk on.
